DAYCARE: Children to be taken to playroom on Tuesdays and Thursdays every week at 08h30.
ACTIVITIES:
GERMAN VOLUNTEER PROGRAM: Playground program: playtime, read stories, sing songs or make music, watching of learning program and DVD
THERAPEUTIC PROGRAM OF EACH CHILD: Developmental stimulation
Care for 36 patients, 29 adults and 7 children.
Profile of patients:
1. Palliative: AIDS, Cancer and non curative diseases.
2. Sub-acute: Stroke, Children Out Patient Support(COPD), post-surgical convalescence.
3. Initiation of Anti-retroviral drugs
4. Family Respite
5. Oncology patients receiving chemotherapy
6. Supply appropriate Assistive Devices and Wheelchairs to patients as necessary.
