* Weekly on a Thursday, groups get together to share and support each
other.

1. Social support, Disability grants, Children grants etc.
2. Pastoral Counseling
3. Training of facilitators to establish support groups.
4. Health and Social education and information.
5. Distributing clothes and food parcels for patients.
6. Adherence support.
2. Spiritual Care
Pastoral Care Services recognizes that supportive spiritual care can encourage healing and wholeness in patient's life.
Our pastors/chaplains are trained to assist people of all faiths who desire pastoral support in coping with illness or trauma.
Spiritual Care seeks to contribute to healing in many ways:
Spiritual and emotional counseling to help patients and families to cope with illness.
Prayer and sacrament on request.
Crisis counseling.
Assistance to the patient and the family in the bereavement process.
Facilitating support groups.
Training and mentoring of support group facilitators.
Connecting patients with spiritual care resources.
Debriefing and counseling of CMSR staff.
3. Psychosocial Care
Social services to individuals, families and children. This includes handling problems with children and other dependants.
Assistance to the patient and the family in the bereavement process.
Handling alcohol and drug dependency.
Marriage councelling.
Facilitating access to grants.
Facilitating the placement of patients in other facilities, such as old age homes.
Home visits to assess social circumstances of patients and families.
Referral to other organizations.
Assistance to the patient and the family in the bereavement process.
Giving input at the interdisciplinary meetings, to assist in decision making regarding services to patients and their families.
