Our "diplomatic corps" are people who are prepared to make themselves available to act on our
behalf in one or more of these ways, from time to time:
  • Acting as master of ceremonies for a Bethesda function
  • Being present at an event involving or benefiting Bethesda
  • Promoting our cause to their corporate business associates
  • Being available for occasional photo opportunities involving the media
  • Assisting in any other way to introduce and promote our cause in their day-to-day activities
Ambassadors
We are very excited to announce that Jan Hoogendyk, a renowned music artist, joins us as one of our new Ambassadors.  Jan Hoogendyk is known for his soulful Afrikaans gospel music. One of Jan’s great passions is community upliftment and serves the poor through his music teaching at his music school for the under privileged youth in the community. He has been serving Bethesda in this way for the past 2 years and has made many friends here.
As a recording artist, Jan’s aim is to spread the message of Bethesda’s work to the community of George as well as to the rest of South Africa.
.As a recording artist, Jan’s aim is to spread the message of Bethesda’s work to the community of George as well as to the rest of South Africa. He wants to inspire others through live concerts to
join in Bethesda’s ministry among the poor and the sick. Jan also gave Bethesda the rights to the use of his music in any promotional capacity deemed necessary. As an ambassador for Bethesda, he will
strive to create awareness amongst those who love and enjoy his music. Jan has launched a promo video of his new album, on which he did a song with Coenie de Villiers. They recorded an Afrikaans
version of Nkozi Sekele. What a touching song and video. We believe that this will inspire people to get more involved in helping in their communities .
